John G. Copeland, ’24, is the full-time instructor of the Cadet Corps Leadership Program at Saint John’s College High School in Washington, D.C.
Copeland applied for the job through the efforts of CAA District 13 Co-Directors COL Alvin Perkins, USA, Ret., ’79, (a Saint John’s board of trustees member) and Lt Col Neil Couch, USAF, Ret., ’82, and the Citadel Clubs of Greater Washington, DC, and Maryland.
Saint John’s has a close working relationship with The Citadel, especially with Commandant of Cadets Col Tom Gordon, USMC, Ret., ’91, and Krause Center Director Col Tom Clark, USMC, Ret., ’85.
