Jerald Thomas Snow, 71, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his residence. He was born on August 15, 1952, in Iredell County to the late James Thomas Snow and Mildred Roscoe.
After graduating from Statesville High School with the Class of 1971, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Citadel College. Jerald served in the U.S. Army and later became an owner/operator with Case Management Services. He coached baseball and football, played golf, and bowled.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jefrey “Scotty” Phillips, and his sister, Susan Wall.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Snow; his children, Michael D. Phillips (Mandy) and Jerald Higgs (Jackie); his grandchildren, Cody Phillips, Timothy Phillips, Mystain Phillips, Amber Sage (Nick), Kaleb Webster, Christian Webster, and Anna Webster; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Maverick, Kirey, and Evie. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Wade Ikard of Greater Lilly’s Chapel Church of Statesville, N.C., officiating. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
