Our beloved, Sullivan Connor Watkins, was called home into the arms of Jesus on January 1, 2024 at the young age of 22. Born August 10, 2001 in Charleston, SC, he was the cherished son of Angel Watkins and Bradley Watkins and the loving brother of Kennedy, Sheldon, and Sophie Watkins and his two favorite furry girls, Darla and Sunny.
Sullivan was a senior cadet in the Delta company at the Citadel, majoring in Construction Engineering. He was expected to graduate in May.
Affectionately known as Sully, he had a passion for helping others. His love for Jesus shined the brightest when he was able to help those in need. He was a member of the Northwood Church youth group, having attended multiple missions trips with them. Sully was a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched. He was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious smile. His love for the outdoors and his talent on the football and baseball fields were just facets of his multifaceted personality. His team mates will remember him for his unwavering spirit and determination.
Sullivan was greeted in heaven by his maternal grandparents, Leon & Cindy Peters, his maternal great-grandfather, Billy Floyd, and his maternal aunt, Grace Peters.
Sullivan’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and love for life will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he left this world far too soon, he left it a better place. As we bid farewell to this remarkable young man, let us carry forward the light he brought into our lives.
