Gregory Taylor McHone, 61 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
Born on July 5, 1962, he was the son of the late Anita McHone (O’Bryan) and Joe McHone. Greg grew up in Summerville, South Carolina, and graduated from Summerville High School, class of 1980. ?Greg’s life story has been written and remains a treasure to each privileged to journey with him. Without a doubt, certain aspects of his character were genetically determined. Yet, his beliefs and attitudes about life, family, friendship, work, community, and faith were shaped by each of you. Greg loved to laugh, and his sense of humor and quick wit will always make us smile. His analytical mind, through critique and evaluation, allowed him to solve the most difficult of problems in the work sector, personally, or in quiet conversation with a friend who needed advice and comfort. He was a gentle giant with a heart to serve Jesus, eager to freely?give what he had been given so others may experience the same joy!
?Calvary Chapel West Ashley was home for Greg; he loved fellowship with his brothers and sisters. Greg had a heart for Missions and was on the Board of Directors of Tabitha Cares ministry, serving those in Mali, West Africa.
