Lt. Col. Scott Marshall Lang, USAF, Ret, 47, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004. He was born July 25, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force with 22 years of service and was the Assistant Service Chief of Acquisition and Materiel Management Service for the VA. He graduated high school in Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1974 and The Citadel in 1978, and was commissioned as an officer in 1978, then he received a Master’s of Science from the University of Arkansas in 1984. He was a loving, dependable and unselfish husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and handyman. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Parsons) Lang of North Little Rock; daughter, Erin P. Lang; son, Brian S. Lang both of North Little Rock; parents, Robert and Janet Lang of Green Valley, Ariz.; brother, Jeffrey Lang of Laramie, Wy.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
