Cecil Embrey Seals, 76, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Christel Seals, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008. The relatives and friends of Cecil Seals are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Mr. Seals was born March 5, 1932 in Chattanooga, TN, son of Melvin Seals and Lesley Wood Seals. He retired after 21 years of service in the USAF and was a Korean Conflict Veteran. Following his retirement from the USAF, he worked as a Systems Analyst at the Medical University of South Carolina where he also retired. He was a member of Christ our King Catholic Church. Mr. Seals enjoyed playing golf and volunteer work through the RSVP Organization (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of the American Red Cross). Survivors include his wife; daughter, Carol Price of Raleigh, NC; son, Richard Seals and his wife Betsy of Ansonia, CT; grandson, Dylan Price of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Harriette Weinstein of VA and Mary Lesley Cristol; sister-in-law, Sabine Dickerson and her husband Manard; as well as brothers-in-law, J*rgen Merz and Ralf Merz. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Seals. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the , Charleston County Unit, 267Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
