Felton Snooks Walker, 63, of Henderson, NV, formerly of Los Angeles, CA, Pensacola, FL and Marshallville, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at home with his family present. He was born February 21, 1945 in Macon, GA. He was the son of Katherine Snooks Walker and Charles Carson Walker Sr. He was the grandson of Flora Catherine Peterson Snooks and Bartow Randolph Snooks of Ailey, GA and Laura Carson Massee Walker and John Crocker Walker of Marshallville, GA He was a graduate of Pensacola High School. He graduated as a distinguished student from Texas A and M University, and received his MBA from The Citadel. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church and a former member of Five Flags Rotary Club. He was a pilot in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, and a retired reserve Major. He flew for Braniff Air Lines, TWA, and retired from American Air Lines. Felton was known for his capableness, wit, and the delight he took in others. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pamela Wilhite Walker and their children, Felton Matthew Walker, Bryan Wilhite Walker and Mary Katherine Walker. He is also survived by his siblings, Laura Walker Bond, Charles David Walker, Charles Carson Walker Jr., six nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews. In addition to the time enjoyed with family, his interests included geography, world events, politics, mechanics, and sports. Services will be held Saturday August 16, 2008 at 11AM at the Ailey United Methodist Church, followed immediately by graveside internment in the Peterson Family Cemetery in Ailey GA.
