William Ronald Williamson GREEN SEA | Mr. William Ronald Williamson, age 60, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Conway Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born Mar. 6, 1945, in Mullins, S.C., Mr. Williamson was the husband of Linda Smith Williamson of Green Sea and the son of the late Grover Zebedee Williamson Sr., and the late Lila Marie Gay Williamson. He graduated from Clemson University and received his Masters from the Citadel. Mr. Williamson retired as Principal of Hemingway High School and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hemingway. Survivors including his wife are two sons, SPC Joseph Williamson and his wife, Marie, of Hemingway, and SPC Jason Williamson of Green Sea; one brother, Grover Z. Bud Williamson Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Green Sea; two sisters, Eloyce W. Little and her husband, Elery, of Hemingway, and Betty Murl Fipps of Tabor City, N.C., and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Green Sea Baptist Church with burial following at the Williamson Family Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Smith Sr., and Dr. Bradford Fipps will officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hardwick Funeral Home.
