Wayne W. Wahlenmeier entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2008, Wayne William Wahlenmeier, husband of Rebecca Evalena Bussert Wahlenmeier. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne William Wahlenmeier are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at twelve noon in The Summerall Chapel, The Citadel. Interment, Beaufort National Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Tuesday between five and seven o’clock. Mr. Wahlenmeier was born July 1, 1944 in Long Island, NY, the son of Frederick Wahlenmeier and Evelyn Kempf Wahlenmeier. He was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1966 and a Life Member of the Association of Citadel Men. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Mr. Wahlenmeier was Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Jupiter Systems. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wahlenmeier of Charleston, SC; father, Fred Wahlenmeier of Corsicana, TX; one son, Wayne W. Wahlenmeier, II of Fort Benning, GA; three grandchildren, Hunter, Savannah and Chase. Memorials may be made to The Citadel Development Foundation, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409.
