TAYLOR, JR., Walker Entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 5, 2006, Walker Butch William Taylor, Jr., husband of Madge Rohling Taylor. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Walker W. Taylor, Jr. are invited to attend the Funeral Services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL Wednesday morning, November 8, 2006, at eleven o’clock. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stuhr’s Greenridge Road Chapel this Tuesday afternoon from five until seven o’clock. Mr. Taylor was born January 29, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Walker William Taylor, Sr. and the late Caroline Elsey Taylor. He attended Clemson University and was a Graduate of The Citadel. He was the owner/operator of Taylor Furniture and Appliance Company, a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church and attended St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, a past member of the Elks Lodge and North Charleston Exchange Club and was a United States Navy Pilot during World War II and he enjoyed flying as a hobby. Surviving are his wife of Hanahan; two sons, Marlon Dale Taylor and wife, Vicki, of Summerville and Mark Randell Taylor and wife, Laura, of Hanahan; two grandchildren, Sean Christopher Taylor and Ashley Rhianne Taylor, both of Summerville; and two brothers, Francis C. Taylor and wife, Joann, of West Palm Beach, FL and Allen Wayne Taylor of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Pope. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 1250 Hylan Blvd., Ste. 4-B, Staten Island, New York 10305 or St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 6650 Dorchester Rd., North Charleston, SC 29418 or to Winyah Hospice, 4055 Faber Place Drive, Ste. 212, North Charleston, SC 29405.
