William Terry Marinko, 66, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Pruitt Heathcare in Walterboro.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Grace Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born on May 11, 1950, in Florence, he was a son of the late John A. and Mary Stilley Marinko. He graduated from The Citadel and served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps. He was a retired teacher and retired staff trainer for the Department of Corrections at Leiber and McDougall correctional facilities.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Corrin Crosby Marinko of Walterboro; brothers, John Andrew Marinko and his wife, Kathy, of Sumter, and Mickey E. Marinko of St. Mary’s, Georgia; sister-in-law, Melinda C. Wilson and her husband, Wayne, of Williston; nieces, Jennifer M. Clayton and her husband, Alan, of Summerfield, North Carolina, and Jessica W. All and her husband, Brad, of Barnwell; nephew, W. Dalton Wilson Jr. and his wife, Leah, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a great-niece, Caroline All of Barnwell.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Marinko.
