William Beau Busch, beloved son, brother and friend, 41, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Beau was born in Columbia, SC, the son of Jennifer Rash and Stan Busch. Beau was a 1996 graduate of The Citadel and a 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. He practiced law for over a decade at Chappell, Smith and Arden, P.A. Beau was a world traveler, having lived in Saudi Arabia and surfed from his beloved Folly Beach to the Baja Peninsula, Costa Rica, and throughout the Caribbean. Beau loved life and lived it to the fullest. Everyone Beau met, from his school days to his clients and traveling buddies, considered him a great friend and stayed in touch. Beau packed more into his 41 years than most people do in a life time. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Rash and stepfather, Ron Rash of Yonges Island, father, Stan Busch of Elloree, sister, Joy Sanders, her husband, Darren Sanders and their children, Hank and Julia of Mount Pleasant, step-sister, Heather Rash of Lexington, and step-brother, David Rash of Columbia. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Etta June Williams of Ravenel. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Busch of Rowesville and Raymond Williams of Ravenel. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Beau had many wonderful and loyal friends whom he cherished. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3 o’clock PM at Christ St. Paul’s Church, located at 4981 Chapel Road, Yonges Island with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Water Mission International, which was one of Beau’s favorite causes.
