Val R. Patarini, 78, of Sebring, Fla., passed away July 2, 2015 at his home in Sebring. He was born April 1, 1937 in Clifton, NJ to Valentine R. and Charolette (Cilio) Patarini. In 1954 Val grad-uated from high school in Clifton and was a 1958 graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, SC. He earned his J.D. In 1963 from Stet-son School of Law in St. Petersburg. Val was a resi-dent of the Sebring and Wauchula areas, practicing law throughout Florida from his Wauchula office for over 56 years and was a member of the Florida Bar Association all those years. During Val’s early years of practice clients would offer fruits, vegetables and other goods for services rendered. He is survived by his wife, Susie Patarini of Se-bring; daughter, Christina Lee of Sebring; sons, Val Patarini, III (Karla) of Wauchula, Tim Lee of Zolfo Springs, and Robby Brown of Tampa; grandchildren, Kimberly, Ashley and Emily; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Alissabeth. A service will be at held at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2015, at 6:00 PM with visi-tation an hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Wauchula Ceme-tery.
