Todd Leon Crawford, 47, of Moncks Corner, SC, a Senior Engineer at Santee Cooper and Owner and Principal Engineer of ConStruct Professional Engineering Services, died Tuesday morning in an Atlanta hospital.
His funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, June 3, 2023, in the Freedom Church. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Freedom Church, 1425 Cypress Gardens Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
Mr. Crawford was born March 22, 1976, in Kingstree, SC, a son of O. Leon Crawford and Bonnie Watts Crawford. He was a member of the Freedom Church where he served as a trustee, taught Sunday school, and was a member of both the Freedom Men’s Hike and the Men’s Small Group. Mr. Crawford was a graduate of Macedonia High School, received his engineering degree from The Citadel, and received his masters degree from Charleston Southern University. He was a former employee of Thompson Industrial Services and Home Telephone, and he was also a former board member of the Berkeley County Board of Zoning Appeals. In his spare time, he enjoyed carpentry and woodworking, as well as coaching T-ball and flag football for the Moncks Corner Recreational Complex and conditioning coaching for Olympia Gymnastics.
Surviving are his wife, Sabrina Grosskopf Crawford; his mother of Bonneau; a daughter, Ella Kate Crawford of Moncks Corner; a son, Jackson A. Crawford of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Kellie Crawford of Holly Hill, and Rachel Wagner and her husband, Adam, of Charleston; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Joann Grosskopf of St. Stephen; and many nieces and nephews.
