Thomas Mervin Miles, retired Property Manager of SECU. On February 2, 2010, born in Lock Haven, PA, long-time resident of Glen Burnie, MD, died at his home of natural causes. He was 68. Beloved husband of Diana Miles(nee Itnyre); son of the late Thomas and Hannah Miles of Lewisburg PA; loving father of Rene Carolyn Gallagher of Chapel Hill, NC. Survived by stepchildren Patricia Silvers, Angela Justice and Matthew Robbins, brothers Robert Miles of Deferiet, NY and Graydon Miles of Lewisburg, PA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom graduated in 1963 from The Citadel as mathematics major with a rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He worked several years for the federal government in Washington, DC as a contract specialist for GSA where he serviced federal courts in the mid-Atlantic area. He is a retired employee of SECU (State Employees Credit Union) as Property Manager for the State of Maryland. He was respected by his friends and colleagues.
