Sgt. First Class Stephen P. Allseits, 47, died suddenly in an accident on August 5, 2005 in Elmore County, Idaho. Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of Margaret Mamzic of Lansdale and the late Walter Allseits. He is also survived by his step father Charles Mamzic and fiancee Kristen Rantanen. A former resident of Southampton, he graduated from William Tennent High School and The Citadel Military College in South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps before joining the Pennsylvania National Guard. He was currently a member of First Troop, Philadelphia City Cavalry with membership in A Troop, First Squadron, 104th Cavalry. He worked in computer technical support for Computer Aid Inc. Surviving with his mother, step father and fiancee are two brothers, Thomas Allseits and his wife Debbie of Southampton and Mark Allseits of Telford; one sister Lori Jacques and her husband Russell of Mifflintown, Pa.; two nieces, Sarah Homan and Erin Jacques; step brothers, Charles, Curt and Paul Mamzic and a step sister Amy Williams. He will also be sadly missed by two aunts, Lydia Grace and Rosemarie Congileo and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale where the family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Should friends desire, contributions in his name may be made to First Troop, Philadelphia City Cavalry, 22 S. 23rd Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19103.
