Samuel S. Dugan, 82, husband of Priscilla (Pat) D. Dugan of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011. The relatives and friends of Sam Dugan are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, October 14, 2011 in The French Huguenot Church, 136 Church Street, Charleston, SC at 3:00 pm. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mr. Dugan was born on April 18, 1929 in Conway, South Carolina, son of the late Reverend Ernest Dugan and Eleanor Nelson Dugan. He graduated from The Citadel in 1950. He served in the United States Army as a Liaison Pilot in Korea. Sam was a retired Executive from IBM. He was a board member of the Star Gospel Mission that was founded by Sam’s grandfather. He was also a member of the Charleston Exchange Club. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Priscilla (Pat) Dugan of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Christopher Dugan and his wife, Rhonda, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Diana Dugan of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Obadiah Dugan of Gainesville VA and two grandchildren, Kelly and Elizabeth.
