S. Jane C. Pigott, 73, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for about 45 years, formerly of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Bonita Springs, FL. She was born November 16, 1947 in Sylacauga, AL to Harry and Sarah Smith, now deceasedJane attended Jacksonville University and completed her master’s degree at the Citadel in South Carolina. She worked for over 30 years with the Florida Department of Children and FamiliesJane was of the Christian faith, and attended City Gate Ministries in Fort Myers, FL. She was known for her dedication to and unwavering support of those she loved. She always saw the best in everyone, and with a generous heart always gave to others in needAbove all else, her family was important to her.
