Funeral services for Ronald Gene (Pete) James, 57, of Thomasville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. James died on Oct. 11 in Thomasville. The son of Evelyn James Crane and the late Earl Crane, Mr. James was born on Jan. 13, 1945, in Central, South Carolina. He was married to Patsy Brown Brady James, who survives. Mr. James was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Montana. After retiring from the United States Air Force, he joined the Flowers Credit League, where he was employed as President. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Kim James of Thomasville and Kevin and Michelle James of Beavertown, Oregon; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Scott and Natalie Brady; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Gina and Chris Curry. Also surviving are three grandsons, Hunter, Sebastian and Brennen James and a half-brother, Phillip Crane of Central, South Carolina.
