Richard T. Blankinship, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 20, 2013. Richard was born on Oct. 6, 1938 in Little Rock, AR. He graduated from The Citadel in 1960. He served in the United States Army and the Marine Corps. Richard lived most of his life in Tampa where he loved the warm sunshine and beautiful beaches. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Berry Ramseur (John) and Brooke Vanderpool (Wayne); and his grandsons, Charlie and Henry Vanderpool. His family would like to thank the incredible staff at Magnolia Gardens and Suncoast Hospice for their wonderful love and care. The family will be holding a private ceremony.
