Richard P. Howard, age 80, of Basking Ridge, N.J., passed away on October 22, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center, NJ.
Richard was born on December 5, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, to parents, Harry H. and Emily P. (Penn) Howard. He graduated from Newark Academy in 1963 and The Citadel in 1967. Richard enjoyed Horseback riding, Hunting, and Fishing. He was a member of the Tewksbury Trail Association, Gladstone Equestrian Association, Readington Trail Association, Hunterdon Horse and Pony Club and the Operations Committee of Fellowship Village. Previously employed by AT&T & United Health Care as a Project Manager.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother and father, Emily P. Howard and Harry H. Howard.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ginny K. Howard, son Richard P. Howard Jr, his wife Chrissy Castle and 6 Grandchildren, Kaelin Howard, Kyle Howard, Kaitlin Kurdyla, Max Kurdyla, Owen Kurdyla, and Rosie Kurdyla. His brother Harry H. Howard & his wife Brenda.
