Richard J. Halpin, 73, of Manchester died on Tuesday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Memorial Mass is on Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John’s R.C. Church, Chestnut St., Lakehurst. Interment will take place privately at Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements are by DeGraff Cremation Service, Lakehurst Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Richard lived in Maplewood and Florida before moving to Manchester four years ago. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966 and retired from First Washington Federal Savings & Loan, Washington, D.C. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Halpin; son, Richard Scott of Medford; daughter, Wendy Hallows of Pittsburgh, Pa., and three grandchildren. Tags: 1960
