Name/Residence Richard H. White, Bradenton,FL Approx. Date of Death: 11/01/2006 Notice White, Richard H. Richard H. White, M.D., 74, of Bradenton, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2006. He was born in Pensacola, Fla., on Feb. 14, 1932. He received his undergraduate degree from the Citadel, and doctorate from The University of Miami, Medical School. He served in the U.S. Army, as an army surgeon for seven years in Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star medal during his service in the Vietnam War, and he attained the rank of Lt. Colonel. He moved to Bradenton in 1970, where he had a private surgical practice for 31 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Yong; daughters: Lisa Yong (Keith) Slater, of Knoxville, Tenn., Angela (John) Stock, of Leesburg, Va.; son: James Richard (Cindy) White, of Bradenton; grandchildren: Jackson, Eliza and Samantha; and brother: Robert White, M.D., of Bradenton. There will be a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to TideWell Hospice. Brown and Sons Funeral Homes 43rd St. Chapel in charge of arrangements.
