Ronald Mark Stading, of Johns Island, entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 25, 2010, Ronald Mark Stading, husband of Meredith Goode Stading. Residence, Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stading are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Thursday January 28, 2010 at ten o’clock in The Summerall Chapel, The Citadel. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Wednesday between five and seven o’clock. Mark was born December 16, 1976 in Charlotte, NC, the son of Ronald Lee Stading and Randy McCall Stading. He was a 1999 graduate of The Citadel and a member of The Citadel Alumni Association and the Stray Dog Society. He was a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Mark loved being outside, whether it be fishing, crabbing or throwing the ball with his “girls”. He always had a smile on his face. He adored baseball season whether watching his Cubs, at The Citadel or the Gamecocks. When baseball season ended he turned his full attention to the Carolina Panthers. Mark deeply loved animals. He couldn’t drive by a stray dog without stopping. He is survived by his wife of Johns Island, SC; his son: Brooklyn Ronald Stading; his parents of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Michael J. Stading and his wife Jennifer and their son Jack of Charlotte, NC and Matthew S. Stading and his wife Taylor of Charlotte, NC; Maternal Grandmother: Lillie Mae McCall of Charlotte, NC; Paternal Grandmother: Mary C. Stading of Charlotte, NC; Father and Mother-in-Law: Scott & Regis Goode; Brother-in-Law and his finance: Derek Goode and Ashley Benoit; his BELOVED dogs: Sierra, Hagood, Bruin and Rush.
