Peter Gregory Wallace, 56, of Mt Pleasant passed away after a short battle with cancer on July 3, 2024. Peter was born January 24, 1968, son of Phyllis Billings Wallace and the late Pete Wallace of Greenville.
Peter was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many.
He is survived by his mother, his twins, Julia Peyton and Parker Wade Wallace, and their mother, Paula M. Wallace. He is also survived by his sister Paige Wallace Watson (Kelly) and his nephew, Preston, of Atlanta, GA.
After graduating from Wade Hampton High School in Greenville in 1986, Peter earned a BS degree in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1990. While at The Citadel, he played on the Rugby Team for 3 years and served as President of the Club.
Peter was a Broker in the logistics business for over 20 years, the majority of which he worked as an independent Agent Broker with Suntecktts.
Peter loved life, family, and the outdoors. Spending time outside hunting, fishing, and snow skiing with his family and friends was his passion. But his greatest joy was Peyton and Parker who he loved, adored, and of whom he was immensely proud.
A gathering and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 11th from 4pm to 7pm at the Swain Boating Center located at the Citadel, 11 Hammond Avenue, Charleston, 29409. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Another celebration of life will be held in Greenville, SC at a later date.
