Pedro Gelabert-Torres, of Albuquerque, N.M., loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle passed away on April 2, 2014, at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Ernestina Gelabert; son Pete and wife Valarie Gelabert; grandchildren Tiffani Finley, Josh and Tinisha Thoma; great-grandchildren Jace and Logan Gelabert, Mcaidyen and Brailyn Thoma; son, Joe and wife Phyllis Gelabert, and granddaughter Jennifer Gelabert; Daughter Magdalena and husband Frederick Apodaca; granddaughter Victoria Apodaca. He was preceded in death by his sister Isabel Macisco; brother Carlos Gelabert; father Lorenzo Gelabert; stepson Bruce Romero and first wife Guadalupe Gelabert. Pedro was a Korean War veteran, and also retired from the US Postal Service. He enjoyed his retirement by traveling, bowling and spending time with his family. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church at 5415 Fortuna RD NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, on Monday, April 7th at 11:00am with Celebrant Father Peter Muller.
