The Citadel Alumni Association Contributes to Scholarships
The Citadel Alumni Association capped off a banner year of giving at its annual membership meeting. The Association will contribute $900,000 to support college operations, CAA legacy cadet and need-based scholarships, and enhance The Citadel’s Service to Country Tuition Scholarships and National Service Room and Board Scholarships for ROTC cadets.

The 1992 Bulldog Football team became the winningest in The Citadel's history. The "Dream Season" included a 50-0 victory over VMI on November 14, 1992. The Bulldogs made it to the second round of the NCAA playoffs.

November 13, 1908: It was moved and carried that the Academic Board request the Board of Visitors to add Spanish to the curriculum and that members of the First Class excepting those electing Chemistry and Physics to be allowed to substitute it for German in this Class.
