Paul “Dick” Richard Schaffner, Jr., of Hanceville, Ala., passed away on June 24, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 16, 1934 in Manhattan, New York.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Paul worked at Metropolitan Life and Sierra Health Services. He attended The Citadel in South Carolina.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda Head Schaffner; daughter, Kristin Ginetto; step-daughters, Paige Lain and Pamela Beckwith; sister, Ann Wise; nephews, Peter Wise and Jimmy Wise; nieces, Elizabeth Valerio and Vicki Burke.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
