Michael David Andrews, 68, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. Michael was born July 31, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Charles Marion Andrews and Eleanor Weathers Andrews. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston and earned his Master’s Degree from The Citadel. Michael was retired from Roper Hospital as an Accountant. He was a Life Member of WAOMC and the Palmetto Gun Club. Michael’s nieces and nephews were his pride and joy and he loved watching them grow up and adored spending time with them. He loved his Thursday night BBQ dinner group, Caroline Wallace, his neighbors and especially Justin and David. Michael is survived by his brother, Dr. James Charles Andrews (Sandy “the food angel”) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; his dog daughter, LuLu; nieces and nephews: Kristin Carter (Chris) of Ohio, David Andrews (Gabriella) of Charleston, SC, Dr. Caroline Andrews of Charleston, SC and Allison Andrews of Wadmalaw Island, SC; one great-nephew, Charles Andrews of Charleston, SC; uncle, George Andrews of Sunnyvale, CA; and first cousins: Bobby Long, John Long, Kathie Thomas, Marilyn Weatherford, Debbie Lombardi, Carolyn Weathers, Dick Weathers, Barry Weathers, Gary Weathers, George Andrews and Bill Andrews and their children.
