Michael A. Guthrie III, of Hull, MA, died suddenly, Dec. 30, 2014. Son of the late Michael A. II and Veronica (Bratten) Guthrie. Beloved husband of 45 years to Maureen (Wessell) Guthrie of Hull. Loving father of Courtney Mulvihill and her husband Daniel of Winnetka, Illinois, Erin DeGiacomo and her husband Craig of Marshfield, and Michael A. Guthrie IV and his wife Laurie of Stow. Dear brother of Mary Anne Fulmer and her husband Richard of Mechanicsville, N.Y., Donald Guthrie and his wife Patricia of Camp Hill, Pa., and Ronald Guthrie and his wife Yvonne of Mars, Pa. Cherished Pop of 10 grandchildren. Michael is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael graduated in 1969 from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. He worked in the retail industry for 45 years and 25 years, Michael was Regional Vice President of Operations for Macys Department Store. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, cooking and reading on the beach. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3 – 7 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham.
