Mark Andrew Campbell, 46, of Palm Coast, Florida, died January 13, 2022, at Advent Health Medical Center in Palm Coast, FloridaBorn July 31, 1975, at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Richard Herman Campbell, Jr., and Kathleen Marie CampbellMark was a 1997 graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., and was in sales with Marsh & Moore Inc., a wholesale construction supply company, located in St. Augustine, FLDuring his time at The Citadel, he was a member of K Company and the Summerall Guards, an elite drill team, whose members are chosen for their physical stamina, and drill proficiency. Membership is considered a high honor. In the guard, Mark earned the distinction of being a Sixty-One Minute Man. He absolutely loved his time at The Citadel and he garnered many friendships there that he cherished for a lifetimeHe is survived by his mother, Kathleen Campbell and her husband, Rollyn Wild, sisters, Joanna and Mary-Elizabeth Campbell, nieces, April and Sara, his girlfriend of 8 years, Shana Barto and his faithful dog, MillerHe is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a host of Citadel brothers, who loved and supported him tremendously throughout his life. He will be especially missed by his Citadel brothers, Miles White, Brad Hiers, Craig Blackmon, Andy Whitlock, James Trabert and a host of othersMark was a very open and loving guy who accepted friends and strangers for who they were. He was known best for his huge smile and infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His favorite verse from the bible was Philippians 1:21.
