BRANCHE, KEVIN LEE – age 33, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2004. Survived by wife Candice Leigh and two lovely daughters Lexie and Lindsey Branche who reside in Charleston, SC; mother and stepfather Faye & Steve Nelson of Seymour; father and stepmother Ralph & Brenda Branche of Knoxville; mother-in-law & father-in- law Linda & Tommy Myers of Atlanta; grandmother Hessie Jo Branche of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law April & Robert Montgomery of Knoxville; step brothers Travis Maples and Nick Maples and wife Jo Ellen of Knoxville; brother-in-law Cayce Myers of Atlanta; nieces Marlee & Monica Montgomery; and numerous cousins, family & friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Edna Carnes and great grandparents William and Gladys Clevenger. Kevin was born on March 17, 1970 to Faye Carnes Branche Nelson and Ralph Donald Branche. He is a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1988. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and a MBA with highest honors from The Citadel University of Charleston, SC. Kevin competed in triathlons and enjoyed golfing, swimming, basketball, and running. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway from 1:00 -3:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm. Pastors Carroll Golden and Greg Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Highland South Cemetery on Chapman Highway. The pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are: Matt Ballard, Mark Burnette, Michael Burnette, Tim Carnes, Chad Fain, Nick Maples, Travis Maples, Cayce Myers, Rob Sweat, and Davis Suggs.
