Joe worked as a field engineer for IBM for most of his career and retired after 36 years of loyal service to the company. Shortly thereafter he worked full-time for Social Security before he decided to permanently retire after five years of employment.
During his retirement, Joe served as Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, volunteered his time for his home parish St. Jane Frances, was an avid movie-goer and enjoyed getting lost in his Sci-Fi television series. He and Dotty enjoyed season tickets at the Hippodrome and found time to travel.
