John received his Electrical Engineering degree at The Citadel in Charleston, SC; he also attended the Harvard University PMD23, Graduate School of Business and was a member of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers. John was a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, he worked as an electrical engineer, for 31 years, employed by Florida Power and Light, where he was the director of transmission and distribution in Juno Beach, FL. Survivors include, wife, of 54 years, Lucy B. Stall, of Jensen Beach, FL, son John A. Stall (Carole), of Palm City, FL, daughter, Diane Bolter, of Tampa, FL, son, David Stall (Neri), of San Diego, CA, granddaughter, Karen Johnston (Erik), of Atlanta, GA, granddaughter, Julie A. Stall, of Atlanta, GA, granddaughter, Melissa Bolter, of Tallahassee, FL, grandson, Kevin Bolter, of Panama City, FL, grandson, David Edward Stall, of San Diego, CA, grandson, Eric C. Stall, of San Diego, CA, great granddaughter, Ella B. Johnston, of Atlanta, GA and brother Eugene Stall, of Charleston, SC. Contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997. A memorial mass will be held on, Saturday, October 7, 2006, at 11:00 am, at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held privately at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach.
