John Wallace, age 61, of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 18, 2009. Member of Northwest Bible Church. He was employed with Lincoln Construction Company as a Human Resource Manager and Safety Officer. Retired Lt. Colonel U.S. Army Veteran 23 years of service, Special Forces Ranger and Airborne. Preceded in death by parent John W. and Joyce D. Wallace. Survived by loving wife of 32 years, Victoria L.; children, Jeffrey C. (Michelle L.) Rupp of Momence, Ill. and Jennifer L. (Marc S.) Priske of Kettering, Oh.; sister, Marcia W. (Edward) Shore of Harrisburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Zackary T. and Meagan J. Rupp of Momence, Ill. and Olivia L. Priske of Kettering, Oh.; nephew, J. Craig Kimbark of Mt. Joy, Pa.; and niece, Kristina Kimbark of Mechanicsburg, Pa. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Northwest Bible Church, 6639 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, Oh. with Pastor Ken Harrell officiating.
