Dr. John Andrew Aycock, Jr., 66, husband of Carol Gilbert Aycock entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 6, 2003 in a local hospital. The relatives and friends of Dr. and Mrs. John A. Aycock are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Monday, June 8, 2003 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 3:00 o clock. Friends may call at Stuhr s Mount Pleasant Chapel Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 o clock. Dr. Aycock was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, son of John A. and Louise Bogle Aycock. He graduated from The Citadel and Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in medicine. Surviving are his wife, Carol G. Aycock of Mount Pleasant, SC; four sons, Ward Aycock of Danielsville, GA, Stuart Aycock of St. George, SC, Wesley Aycock of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Morgan Aycock of Mount Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Wendi Combes of Athens, GA, one sister, Rosamond Sanders, of Mount Pleasant, SC; and two grandchildren.
