James Rowland Evans, 71, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on May 15, 2011. He was a graduate of The Citadel. He served in the United States Army stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He retired as an Accountant for the Commercial Construction Industry. He was a member of Praise Cathedral in Greer. He is survived by his wife Betty, Daughters, Dawn Czarnecki and husband Jeffrey. Deborah Taylor and husband Joseph of Phoenix, Arizona. Sons, James Hearn and wife Vickie, Steven Hearn and wife Gina, Charles Evans of Charlotte, North Carolina. Six Grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Czarnecki, Christopher, Amanda, Austin and Logan Hearn all of Greenville. A special thank you to the staff of Greenville Memorial Hospital and North Greenville Hospital for the love and care he was given. Thanks also for the many prayers for him from his church family and friends. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 18, at Praise Cathedral 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, South Carolina.
