James P. Moskos ELM CITY — James P. Moskos, 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Moskos and Thelma Jones Moskos; a brother, George Moskos; and sisters, Helen Moskos Mitchell and Mary Workman Simpson. Mr. Moskos was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College. He received his Master’s Degree from the Citadel in Charleston, S.C. He served four years in the Air Force in the Intelligence Field and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a teacher in special education for over 30 years. He is survived by a sister, Nancy High of Wilson; brother, James Moskos of LaGrange; four nieces, four nephews; five great nieces; two great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Otis Hamm officiating. Guests will be received at the home of Nancy High, 4642 Lake Wilson Road, Elm City, following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilson Humane Society, P.O.
