Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of March 27, 2007, James Frederick Bischoff, husband of Peggy Forest Bischoff. Residence, St. George, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. James Frederick Bischoff are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Saturday, March 31, 2007 at eleven o’clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Burial will be private in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call in Stuhr’s Downtown Chapel Saturday at ten o’clock. Mr. Bischoff was born November 15, 1931 in Charleston, SC, the son of William B. Bischoff and Alice Graham Bischoff. He was a graduate of The High School of Charleston and attended The Citadel. He served with the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Bischoff was a member of St. George United Methodist Church and was a Life Member of Charleston Elks Lodge #42 and a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He retired from The Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Metrologist. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; one son: Paul L. Bischoff and his wife Bobbie of St. George, SC; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
