James A. Ori of Miami, Florida, died on May 20th at the Veterans Hospital in Miami of complications due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Agent Orange from the Vietnam War. A memorial service with military honors will be held at Saint Stephen’s Church at 119 Main Street in Millburn, New Jersey on Saturday, June 6 at 2pm. Ori received a BA Degree from The Citadel in Charleston, SC in 1966 and an MA Degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in Vietnam as a Field Artillery Officer. After the was, Ori worked on Wall Street and ended his career there as Vice President of Trading, Sales and Support Operations for Nomura Securities International. He is survived by his mother, Jean Ori of Stirling, NJ and his sister, Nancy Ori of Berkeley Heights, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of James A. Ori to the Citadel Scholarship Fund and sent to The Citadel Foundation 171 Moultrie Street in Charleston, South Carolina 29409. Tags: 1966
