Jack Randall Lesemann, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Friday, December 22, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 29, 2017, in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5 Clifford Street, at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends in the church Parish Hall after the service. Randy was born November 2, 1950, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, son of the late Jack J. Lesemann and Mary Ellen DeVeaux Lesemann. He graduated from St. Andrew’s High School and The Citadel, Class of 1972. Randy served as a C-141 pilot in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He then worked for the Federal Government and retired as an Air Traffic Controller. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, American Guild of Organists and The Huguenot Society of South Carolina. He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he also served on the vestry. Randy is survived by his brother, Gary Jahnz Lesemann (Shand) of Charleston, SC; and nephew, Gary K’Hill Lesemann (Rachel) of Rock Hill, SC. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in memory of Randy Lesemann, 5 Clifford Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
