OSTERKAMP, Hubert Entered into eternal rest on the evening of December 17, 2005, Hubert A. Osterkamp, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in Johns Island Presbyterian Church Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at eleven o’clock. Interment, Johns Island Presbyterian Churchyard. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, Tuesday evening from six until eight o’clock. Mr. Osterkamp was born April 6, 1927, in Godwin, NC, the son of the late Hubert Jacob Osterkamp and Elizabeth Graham Osterkamp. He was formerly of Johns Island, a member of Sons Of The Confederacy, worked as civil engineer for Westvaco for over 30 years, a Citadel Graduate with a degree in engineering. Sandy worked as an associate Professor at Citadel and was an avid supporter of the Citadel. Mr. Osterkamp was a member of Johns Island Presbyterian Church. He is survived by four sons: Hubert A. Osterkamp, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Joseph G. Osterkamp of Powder Springs, GA, Davis Osterkamp of San Francisco, CA and James Osterkamp of James Island, SC; a daughter: Laura E. Genjian of Powder Springs, GA; seven grandchildren; a sister: Franziska and brother-in-law, Jack Templeton; a brother: Henry A. Osterkamp and sister-in-law, Mildred; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Osterkamp. A brother, George Peter, predeceased Mr. Osterkamp.
