Henry Burton Levin, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Hazel E. Levin entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 6, 2018. His graveside service will be held Friday June 8, 2018 in the KK Beth Elohim Cemetery, Huguenin Ave at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Henry was born January 29, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Sam Levin and Ida Schreiberg Levin. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired as an Electrical Engineer with the Department of Defense. He graduated from The Citadel and was a member of KK Beth Elohim Congregation. He was a Papa Extraordinaire. He is survived by a son, Jonathan Edward Levin of Charleston, SC; daughter, Cheryl Levin of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren: Isaac Roberts, Eli Roberts, Michael Levin; two great-grandchildren: Trent Levin, Lily Levin; brother, Allan Levin of Charleston, SC; sister, Mitzi Kirshtein (Sam) of Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by son, David Michael Levin, and his brother James Edward Levin. The family would like to thank his caretakers Juanita Chandler and Cathy Gordon.
