Col. Harold “Gator” Kenneth Bramble Sr., 75, of Live Oak, Texas, passed away January 28, 2015. He was born in Bridgeville, Delaware on February 15, 1939. He graduated from Palatka Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. He had a highly decorated career in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years serving as a Pilot with over 4400 flying hours and 728 combat missions. “Gator” is a life time member of the: Order of the Daedalians; the Association of the Citadel Men; the USAFSS/ESC Alumni Association; the ICAF Alumni Association; the Masonic Lodge of Texas; “Ranch Hand” Vietnam Association; the Military Order of World Wars (MOWW) and National Sojournors. He is also an active member of the Scottish Rite 32 – Valley of San Antonio, and a Noble of the Alzafar Temple of the Shrine of San Antonio, Texas. Ken also had a passion for bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was survived by family; Harold K. and Cathy Bramble Jr., Eric Von Bramble and his wife Jennifer; and his grandchildren Trey and Niki Bramble. A graveside service will be held in his honor on February 13, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
