Glenn B. Horne, 84, of Hanahan, SC, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in visitation on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Barnard and Laura Horne; and brothers, Charles and Eli Horne. Left behind to treasure his memory is his loving family, his wife of 61 years, Cynthia Horne; daughters, Angela, and Glenda; son, Kevin; adopted daughters, Skoop, Trish, JoAnn, Pam, Jamie, and Kelli; brothers, Ray, Willie; a sister, Clara; 13 nieces and nephews and several adopted grandchildren. Glenn was an avid softball player, gardener, and all around outdoorsman. He loved his ’60 Chevrolet BelAir. He also enjoyed cooking and making cane syrup with his brothers, playing games with his families and friends, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
