SOUBEYROUX, Frank Frank H. Soupy Soubeyroux, 54, of Charleston, S.C., a teacher at Lamb’s Elementary School, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at his home. Born October 19, 1949, in Charleston, S.C., he was the son of the late Frank Honore Soubeyroux and Eleanor Murphy Soubeyroux. A 1967 graduate of Bishop England, Frank earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1971 and later completed a Master of Education degree, both from the Citadel. He was a former teacher and JV football coach at Bishop England High School. He also taught at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School prior to his employment with the Charleston County School System. Frank was a member of the SC Educational Association and served in various positions with the PTA at Lamb’s Elementary School and with the Cooper River Council PTA. He was a teacher at heart and affected countless lives of young people. He attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 704. Frank is survived by two sisters, Eleanor S. Vermillion, Houston, Texas, and Jeanne S. McClintock, Southbury, CT; brother Richard L. Soubeyroux, Charleston, SC; eight nieces and nephews, Alida, Bethany, Michael, and Terry Vermillion, Lee and Russ McClintock, and Ricky and Jennifer Soubeyroux; and one grand-nephew Manny Vermillion. His nephew, Jon Vermillion, preceded him in death. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday, July 13, 2004, beginning at 6 p.m. and visitation will follow until 8 p.m. at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 150 Wentworth St., Charleston.
