Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home. A private family service will be held on Friday. A native of Christian County, he was born Oct. 15, 1922, the son of the late Frank Burbridge Lacy Jr. and Mary Louise Tandy Lacy. He was owner and partner of Munday-Lacy-Peden Insurance and served as a Major with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He was an officer and member of the 101st Airborne Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a founding member of the Civitan Club. He was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Hopkinsville Christian County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Association of the U.S. Army. He was a member of national, state and local professional insurance agencies and was an original board member of the Hopkinsville Community College. He was a former board member of both the Jennie Stuart Medical Center and the Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority. Survivors include his wife, Lois Carter-Lacy; three sons, Frank English Lacy, Hopkinsville, McDowell Tradue Lacy, Bardstown, and John McPherson Lacy, Henryville, Ind.; a daughter, Ann Tandy Lacy, Urbana, Ill.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library, St. LukeÆs Free Clinic, or the Christian County Animal Shelter
