Harrison Wallace, 64, of Suwanee, Ga., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Yulee Wallace. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Billie Watson Wallace, Suwanee, Ga.; sister, Claudia Wallace, Charlotte, N.C.; and stepson, Andrew Moore, Loganville, Ga. Mr. Wallace was born March 28, 1951, in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. He was a 1969 graduate of Fort Mill High School in Fort Mill, S.C., and a 1977 graduate of The Citadel at Charleston, S.C., with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army A.S.A. for three years. He was retired from AT&T as a Systems Analyst and various management positions after 17 years of service. He was also a licensed U. S. Customs Broker. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, a member of the Buford VFW, and a member of The Citadel Club of Atlanta, Ga. He was an elder at Northwest Presbyterian Church, Atlanta, Ga., and a member of Buford Presbyterian Church, Sugar Hill, Ga. He was an expert at origami and an avid reader and wood carver. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Buford Presbyterian Church, Sugar Hill, Ga., with Dr. Corey Ingold and the Rev. Carrie Barnes officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Elmwood Cemetery, Columbia, S.C. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the funeral home.
