Elly J. Locklair, 78, passed away Monday, August 25, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen S. Locklair; two daughters, Cindy Mull and her husband, Marvin, Robin Nagle and her husband, Chris; two grandchildren, Tyler and Amber Mull; a sister-in-law, Virginia Jones and her husband, Jim; two nephews, Ricky Jones and his wife, Cindy and their two sons, Jimmie Jones and his wife, Linda and their three children. Mr. Locklair was retired from CIGNA with 35 years of service and an U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was also a graduate of the Citadel and a mason with the Masonic Lodge in Greenville, SC. His remains rest at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd, where his family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 27. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Welborne United Methodist Church. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
