Mrs. Elizabeth Callaway Relfe Seal — Age 77, a lifelong Alabama native, most recently of Daphne, passed away on Monday, October 17. Mrs. Seal was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Society Magna Carta Dames, and Daughters of the American Colonists. She was also recognized as being instrumental in the creation of Wilmer Hall School of Mobile. She was a graduate of Lanier High School of Montgomery and the University of Alabama, later earning her MBA from the Citadel of Charleston, SC. She was also known for the valuable contributions made to her community and to civic organizations. Mrs. Seal is survived by three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Otts of Arlington, Virginia, Lucy Edwards Seal of Marietta, Georgia, and Katherine Nicholson Kowalski of Seneca, South Carolina; two grandsons, John Nicholson Otts and Thomas Arthur Kowalski; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. of Fairhope. Private services will be held for her interment at the family cemetery in Mount Meigs, Alabama. A memorial service will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Chapel Friday, October 21, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
